Dr Mark Kingry
Kingry Orthodontics
Dr. Kingry is a native of Dothan, born and raised there. He graduated from Northview High School in 1983. After high school, he attended Huntingdon University, receiving a BA in chemistry. He graduated from University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham with a DMD in 1991 and LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans with an Orthodontic Certificate in 1993.
Kingry married his wife, Beth Anderson of Montgomery, in 1989 and they have three daughters —Lauren, Allison and Meredith. They are members of Frazer United Methodist Church, where he has served in all lay leadership positions.
After graduation from LSU School of Dentistry in the Orthodontic program, he entered into practice with Dr. Eugene Brown end eventually purchased the practice in 1994. He presently owns the practice as Kingry Orthodontics. Kingry has served as a past president of the Alabama Orthodontics Association and 2nd District Dental Society.
One of his accomplishments includes completing in first place in the Iron Man Triathalon in 2018.
His personal experience with cancer is an aunt who died of stomach cancer 30 years ago. He considers himself fortunate to have only been directly impacted by his aunt’s death. However, the stress and strain that others around him have experienced has made such an impression on him that he wants to participate with the Real Men Wear Pink campaign. “I want to do my part in helping to eliminate this terrible disease,” he says.
