Edward Marcel Stivers, III was born in St. Louis, Missouri where he attended St. Louis Country Day School. Eddie attended Vanderbilt University graduating in 1994, where he was President of the Impact Symposium and Vice President of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

He has worked in the Senate Banking Committee for U.S. Senator Christopher Bond and was Deputy Political Director for former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft’s U.S. Senate campaign.

Eddie has managed the family business for 22 years which consists of automobile dealerships in multiple states and a property management company. “I’ve served on numerous manufacturer and industry boards and councils including three terms on the Ford National Dealer Council.

He is also a graduate of Leadership Montgomery and serves on the Control Board of the Committee of 100, and the boards of the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce and The Jackson Hospital Foundation.

Eddie and his fiancé Amy have five children, reside in Montgomery, Alabama and attend the First United Methodist Church.
