Originally from Goldsboro, North Carolina, Mike attended the University of North Carolina for undergraduate studies and Virginia Commonwealth University for graduate work.

After graduating Mike spent six years working in the corporate sales department of the Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double A affiliate of the San Fransisco Giants. Taking an exit from the baseball arena for a year, Mike entered the world of NASCAR at Richmond Raceway.

Now a resident of Montgomery, Mike serves as the VP of Corporate & Fan Engagement for the Montgomery Biscuits. “In my role, I oversee the Biscuits sponsorship, marketing, promotions, and community relations.”

“Being impacted by cancer is something I know all too well, my grandmother lost her battle with the disease. I’ve also known several family members and friends who have battled many types of cancer including breast cancer. I’m honored to bring awareness to this devastating disease that affects so many people.”

Mike has been married to Sarah for five years and they are expecting their first child this year. They have a pet pug named Leo.
